Camp Oh Pea Dee
All IDPH guidelines will be followed for our 2021 camp season.

Welcome to Camp Oh Pea Dee; where safety and fun are a priority. Our summer camp is designed for students entering Kindergarten through 6th grade and focuses on emphasizing fun, peer interaction, planned activities, and personal growth. Camp Oh-Pea-Dee will be limited to 24 campers in 2021. Participants will have local field trips each week, swim multiple times a week with the option of swim lessons, participate in a library program throughout the camp season and visit the Splash Pad each Friday along with participating in Flamingo Bingos, Pop Up and Plays, and even Operation Moves! Also, we will be playing at our local parks, engaging in many sports and outdoor games themed crafts and so much more! Do not let your child miss out on this amazing experience! Registration & Payment
Registration for Camp Oh-Pea-Dee opened on Monday, March 1. Registration is currently available online or over the phone (815) 732-3101. Spots are filling fast. Parents can choose to pay in full at the time of registration or select the Summer Camp Payment Plan. The payment plan allows you to reserve your child’s spot in summer camp with a non-refundable deposit. The non-refundable deposit will be 10% of the weekly registration fee, and the remaining balance will be automatically invoiced to your card on file 10 days before the first day of camp.
Financial Assistance is available for Camp Oh-Pea-Dee. To be eligible to receive financial assistance, the applicant must be a resident of the District, be a child of parents in temporary financial need, apply for assistance in writing using the financial aid form provided by the District, and provide evidence of need. Camp Oh-Pea-Dee Refund Policy
To withdraw a child from a week of summer camp, a refund application must be submitted online. A full refund, less the 10% non-refundable deposit, will be granted if the application for refund is filed at least 14 days before the scheduled start of the week. If the week was not yet paid but scheduled to be automatically withdrawn from the refund applicant, the scheduled invoice will be terminated. Refunds will not be granted after the 14 days prior unless due to a medical note or emergency. All refunds are subject to the program coordinator’s approval. A full refund will be issued if the Park District reschedules or cancels that week.
