This July, it’s Game On at Oregon Park District

Jun 28th, 2019

Summer is here, which means it’s time to get out and explore the great things happening at your local parks and the Nash Recreation Center. This July join in on the fun and games offered by Oregon Park District as they celebrate Park and Recreation Month. A variety of fun activities are planned for residents of all ages and abilities — including Concerts in the Park, Art in the Park, Free Summer Meals, Operation Move, Farmers Markets, and more!

Since 1985, America has celebrated July as the nation’s official Park and Recreation Month.  Created by National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), Park and Recreation Month specifically highlights the vital and powerful role local parks and recreation, such as the Oregon Park District, play in health, wellness and in bringing the community closer through a variety of programs and services.

Oregon Park District is inviting you to get in the game!  With everything from Flamingo Bingo, Farm to Table Dinner, Pop Up & Play, the Sprint Triathlon, and $1 Fridays, there are plenty of ways that you can celebrate with us!
