The new online platform, from Perfect Mind, will provide the District with management of pass memberships, activity registrations, and facility reservations. It provides a user-friendly interface, simple navigation, and customizable features to best serve our district, and the community will now be able to view and register for District programs from anywhere with ease.
Q: Why did you switch to a new system?
A: Our old Recreation software, RecTrac, was very dated and did not provide updated functions to meet the District’s requirements. This created an opportunity to implement a more user-friendly system that better meets the needs of our patrons.
Q: Was my account information automatically transferred into the new system?
A: If you registered for a program, book a facility, or held a current membership in July 2019, we transferred your information into PerfectMind and you were emailed your new login information.
All other customers are encouraged to setup your new PerfectMind account to register for programs, book facilities, and update any contact information.
Q: Why didn’t the District transfer all customer accounts?
A: Our old database accumulated many clients over the 15 years of use and many of the client profiles are obsolete or incomplete. To ensure we only brought in current and accurate information into our new Recreation software, your help and patience is greatly appreciated. We will be asking for your support as we request missing information, create your new client account upon your first transaction, or as you go online to create your own account.
Q: Is my credit card information secure?
A: Yes, the new software and payment processor are fully encrypted and compliant to ensure your personal information is secure. We strongly encourage our users to choose a strong password and be diligent in protecting their personal information and account details.
Q: Can I still register in person at a facility or on the phone?
A: Yes, you can still register at Nash Recreation Center, 304 S. 5th Street Oregon or over the phone at (815) 732-3101.
Please note that online registration with the new software may be faster than phone or in-person. We appreciate your patience.
Q: Where do I login?
A: To login to your account, launch Perfect Mind, and click on ‘Login or Create Account’.
Q: Do I need an account to search for programs?
A: No. You can navigate through the system without having an account, or being logged in. You will only be prompted to log-in or create an account when you register for a program.
Q: How do I search for an activity?
A: Search for an activity in one of two ways:
1. Use the Search function on the Schedule page. You can search by entering a keyword in the search field.
2. Navigate through programs under the main categories: Aquatics, Athletics & Sports, Classes & Activities, For Your Pets, Special Programs & Events, Youth Education, and Facility Booking.
You can refine your search using the filters: Day of Week and Date Range.
Q: How do I register for an activity?
A: Step 1. Find and select a program.
Step 2. Login or Create an Account
Step 3. Attendees Screen: Select family member(s) you would like to book and click “Next”
Step 4. Review Screen: Review your Cart Summary and select “Checkout”
Step 5. Payment Screen: Enter payment information and “Complete” the transaction
Q: What will happen if I try to register for an activity that is full?
A: You will not be able to register for a course that is full, but you can add yourself to a waiting list.
If a space opens for that activity or additional sessions are added, you will be contacted by email and/or by phone. If we are unable to reach you, your space may be given to the next person on the waiting list. Placement on a waiting list does not guarantee a spot.
Q: How do I know what I have successfully registered for a program, class, or activity?
A: You have successfully registered for a program, class, or activity when you click the “Checkout” button on the payment screen. You will receive a confirmation email with all of the details .
You can also view all of your client info by clicking on the ‘My Info’ button found at the top left. You will have access to each family members personal information, activity schedules, and payment information.
Q: I have an account, but I can’t see the course I registered for.
A: There is a possibility of having multiple accounts using different email addresses.
If you think this might be the case, please contact the front desk at (815) 732-3101 to have the accounts merged. In the case of a merge, front desk staff will resend up-to-date login information.
Q: I have entered my credit card information, but I cannot adjust or delete it.
A: You can add multiple credit cards to your account if you need to replace a new card/correct information prior to registration, and cannot contact us right away to update your stored information. Simply contact us at your earliest convenience to deactivate any stored card(s) no longer needed.
