Jul 10th, 2020

E.D. Etnyre & Co. agreed in 2019 to partner with the Oregon Park District to sponsor and elevate the communities desire for new and additional free programming.

Through the sponsorship, E.D. Etnyre & Co. has helped fund Art in the Park, Pop Up and Play in the Park, evening pool and lock-in events for the community, the Halloween Carnival, Easter Egg Hunts, Inclusion events, Stem classes, an exotic animal show and many more programs scheduled for the next year.

“The Oregon Park District is always looking for ways to provide opportunities for the community. In the summer of 2018, we began offering several free programs in our parks. After the success of these programs we began looking for a local business that would partner to expand upon these offerings to the community. E.D. Etnyre & Co. joined us in 2019 and we have continued to expand offerings for the community,” said Erin Folk, Executive Director.

“E.D. Etnyre & Co. is a family business rooted in the Oregon community. Their philosophies and commitment to the community made them a perfect fit as our Presenting Sponsor.  We are fortunate with all the restrictions in place due to COVID-19, E.D. Etnyre and Co. has entrusted us to continue to offer the popular programs with new social distancing guidelines and registration guidelines in place. The community has adapted, and with E.D. Etnyre & Company’s generosity we are offering more free programming in July to allow our community to enjoy the outdoors while maintaining safe social distances,” added Folk.

E.D. Etnyre & Co. has been a community staple for over 120 years. Established in 1898, Etnyre continues to lead the industry with its legendary commitment to the market. Their products combine more than 100 years of experience with the latest technological advancements providing customers with top performance and reliability.

Director of Human Resources, Mary Gaffey, said “We are just thrilled to be part of sponsoring these programs.  Etnyre values a reciprocal relationship with the community and making both our company a great place to work and our community a great place to live!”
