Wiggly Wag & Walk
Calling all Dogs….
The Oregon Park District’s 4th Annual Wiggly Wag & Walk event will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Bring your four-legged friends to the Wiggly Field Dog Park off of Pines Road for the High Card Hound Hike, dog demonstrations, family fun, dog vendors, prizes, and food (for humans and hounds). You will enjoy watching the various demonstrations to include agility, obedience, K9 Okar and handler Officer Emily Anderson and more. The various vendors will have retail items as well as information about local dog services, rescue opportunities, boarding, and more. The two mile High Card Hound Hike is also a fun opportunity for you to walk your dog at Park West (stopping at various checkpoints for doggie games/treats and water). $5 per pooch. Pre-register at Nash Recreation Center or sign up at the event. The first 50 participating pooches will receive a goodie bag. Humans and their happy hounds will enjoy the fun at Wiggly Field. The only requirements: all dogs must be on a leash and all dogs 4 months and older must have rabies vaccination. All users and dogs must have a permit to enter the fenced in portion of the dog park. Permits for the Oregon Park District Wiggly Field Dog Park can be purchased at the event for $5/resident or $6/non-resident (discounts for multiple dogs in the family). There is also a $20 deposit for first time permit owners for the key fob. The Oregon Park District invites people and pooches of all ages to the event.
