Seasonal Summer / Park Maintenance

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for a seasonal Parks maintenance positions. Positions require approximately 40 hours weekly during the summer months, Monday through Friday and weekends when needed. Experience operating general lawn care equipment and a valid Illinois State Driver’s License is required. Ages 15 and under must have workers permit. Seasonal jobs are perfect for high school students as well as College students home for the summer.

Part Time Building Supervisor

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for a part-time Building Supervisor for the Nash Recreation Center. Candidates should be outgoing, friendly and team orientated. Job duties include monitoring and securing the facility, building walk-throughs, set-ups, tear downs, and light cleaning.  There are multiple positions open and shifts are flexible including mornings, nights, and weekends.  Applications are accepted at the Nash Recreation Center.  Further information may be attained by contacting Brian Beckman @ 815-732-3101 or brian@oregonpark.org.

Night Custodian

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for a part-time Custodian for the Nash Recreation Center. Candidates should be thorough, detail oriented, and capable of working alone. Job duties include sweeping, mopping, sanitization of multiple areas, locker room cleaning, carpet shampooing and multiple other items. Certified Fitness Instructor

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for a Certified Fitness Instructor at the Nash Recreation Center. The position does not require specific hours, as the instructor will create his or her own schedule based on facility availability. We are looking for a high energy, self starting instructor that will help continue its strong fitness/aerobics following. Lifeguard

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for part-time lifeguards and pool managers at the Nash Recreation Center.  Positions require approximately 12 to 20 hours weekly during the daytime.
