Skilled Park Laborer – Full Time

The Oregon Park District is seeking a full-time Skilled Parks Laborer. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform maintenance and construction work under supervision and exhibit previous work experience  in at least two of the following areas:  welding, carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, masonry, or equipment operation.  The Park Laborer will work directly under the supervision of the Superintendent of Parks, be required to obtain  a Public Applicator’s License, and work cooperatively with representatives of the Oregon Park District and community.  The position includes paid vacation, sick and personal leave, health insurance coverage, and participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.  Salary is DOQ.  Position will remain open until filled.  Please click here for the full job description.  Questions regarding the position can be directed to Dan Griffin, Finance and Technology Administrator, at dan@oregonpark.org.

Extended Time (Before & After School) Instructor

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for part-time ET Instructor. Hours and scheduling are flexible. Position will be responsible for taking attendance, helping with homework, leading activities and overall supervision of K-6th graders before and/or after school hours. After School Open Gym Supervisor

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for part-time open gym supervisor. This shift would occur each Monday from 3:30-5pm throughout the duration of the 2018/2019 school year. Position will be responsible for taking attendance, leading the scheduled sport activity/game for that day and overall supervision of 8-14 year olds that drop into the program. Childcare Instructor

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for part-time childcare instructor. This shift would occur each Monday through Thursday from 430-730pm throughout the duration of the 2018/2019 school year. Position will be responsible for taking attendance, keeping young children engaged in play within the preschool classroom and overall supervision of toddlers that drop into the program. Fitness Instructor

The Oregon Park District is looking for a highly motivated fitness professional to lead group exercise classes. Lifeguard

The Oregon Park District is accepting applications for part-time lifeguards and pool managers at the Nash Recreation Center.  Positions require approximately 12 to 20 hours weekly during the daytime.
