Kettlebell with Lana
Both men and women are invited to join this challenging non-stop workout! Originating in Russia, a kettlebell is a centuries-old training tool that looks like a cannon ball with a handle. Kettlebell training is different than other forms of weight training because many parts of the body are exercised simultaneously, and, in addition, kettlebell training elevates the heart rate for effective cardiovascular training. Kettlebell training will build long lean muscles, improve strength and power in the upper body, core, and lower body and increase coordination, joint mobility and overall endurance. You will burn many calories because your heart will be pumping for the entire 30 minutes. Classes are held at Nash.

Everyone from Beyonce to First Lady Michelle Obama to Kelly Osbourne is hot for Hula-Hooping. To get in on this latest craze, try our exhilarating Hula-Hoop class! An adult sized, weighted hula
hoop will be provided to increase the intensity and burn more calories. Fitness-based hooping has been said to have effects comparable to doing treadmill work, kickboxing and power yoga, but with less impact. This is ideal for those with joint pain and much more fun! To keep the hoop moving around your waist, you are constantly engaging your core, thus burning fat and slimming your waist! A workout can burn 210 calories in just 30 minutes. After 4 weeks of hooping for 30 minutes, 3 times per week, you can lose 3-6 inches off your waist! The hoop will also be used to tone your arms and legs, making this a total body workout!
