The Oregon Park District Children’s Center program will help prepare your child for Kindergarten as they learn to interact with their peers. All program supplies are included in the monthly payment. Children will receive a daily snack. Parents are asked to bring snacks twice per year. Request a parent handbook at Nash for more information. Auto Payment is available for this program. Registration for the 2018-2019 School Year
Registration for the 2018-19 school year will begin on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Residents may register beginning at 7 am and non-residents may register at 9 am. Numbers will be handed out beginning at 5:30 am. Annual pass holders may register one day early, Monday, February 26, 2018, with residents registering at 7 am and non-residents at 9 am. A $20 deposit (to be applied to your child’s September tuition) and your child’s birth certificate are required at registration. Children must be toilet trained and be the appropriate age on or before September 1, 2018. A packet containing an enrollment form and medical form will be mailed to each student in early August.
2018 – 2019
3 Years Old – Meets Tuesday & Thursday
Learning through play is a child’s principle means of discovering his/her world. During this two hour program the children are offered opportunities to develop social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and caring for others. Colors, shapes, name recognition and development of small motor skills, such as cutting and gluing, as well as large motor skills, are all part of the program.

4 Years Old – Meets Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
In this 2 3/4 hour kindergarten prep program children will play and learn through stories, songs, art, games, and gym activities. Cooperation, manners, and self-help skills are established through interaction with other children. Children develop readiness skills for kindergarten including math concepts, problem solving, capital and lowercase letters, and letter-sound recognition. Name printing is established. Children will go on field trips in the community.
